I am currently in my first year of professional travel consultancy. However, I have spent decades as a "thoughtfully planned" traveller, coordinating complex family itineraries and deep-diving into destination research. My journey began with a personal obsession for detail and a love for creating "magic" for my own family. I realised I could use those skills to help others navigate the overwhelming world of holiday planning. I wanted to build a business—Wonderland Wanderer—that moves away from "one-size-fits-all" packages and focuses on bespoke, reflective travel that meets a family's true needs.
What do you like most about working in the travel industry?
I love seeing that perfect itinerary coming together. There is a real joy in taking a client's "bucket list" dream and making it a reality—especially when you find those hidden gems or clever ways to get more value for their budget.
What are your speciality areas?
While I specialise in Disney and have completed the Disney Pixie Dust training, I pride myself on putting together holidays worldwide.
What destinations do you love to book for your customers and why?
I love booking destinations that have the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation - whether that be a family trip to Florida, a European cruise or something else.
What is your personal favourite destination / holiday and why?
My personal favourite has to be a Disney Cruise. It allows me to explore and see the world, but with that consistent "Disney Magic" and high-quality service that makes it feel like a true escape. I also have a huge soft spot for the Greek Islands—there is something about the light and the history there that is just restorative.
