I have nearly 20 years of professional experience within the travel and aviation industry, all backed by a degree in Airline and Airport Management.

​My journey in travel, however, is lifelong. It began before I was born, My parents met whilst working at Marriott inflight catering. My first flight was at 6 months. I spent my formative years travelling frequently between the UK and USA after my father moved there when I was 7.

This sparked a deep-seated passion that led me straight into a career in aviation.

​I have seen the industry from all angles – from serving customers as cabin crew to managing the complex logistics in airline operations and, for the last 15 years, as a specialist in aviation safety.

​I’ve always been the go-to person for friends and family, to find travel gems and plan their trips.

Starting Go Hug The World is the natural and exciting culmination of this experience. I'm taking two decades of professional knowledge and using it to take all the stress out of travel planning, building seamless, protected, and truly memorable holidays for my clients.For me, it’s twofold.

First, I still get that personal buzz of excitement every time I board an aircraft; that feeling of an adventure about to begin is just magical.

​Secondly, managing human performance and well-being in aviation, I see a constant, powerful reminder of travel's positive impact.

I see people heading off on trips that are vital for their rest, celebration, and well-being, and I love seeing how refreshed and happy they are when they return.

​That's why I started 'Go Hug The World.' I love 'the hunt'—finding those hidden gems that will make a trip truly meaningful. My goal is to take all the planning stress away, so I can deliver that pure, magical feeling of anticipation. I want my clients to have those butterflies, counting down the days until their own adventure begins.

I love the challenge of piecing together the perfect, unique itinerary. I'm also a huge cruise enthusiast and love matching clients with the right ship and destination.

Honestly, my favourite 'booking' isn't a specific destination—it's a specific person. I love booking for someone who wants a trip that truly means something to them.

​My real passion is the challenge to discover what someone really wants.

My first question is always about the 'why' behind their trip. Are they looking to explore culture and food? Are they looking to party? Or are they just desperate to unwind?

​From there, I get into the tiny details that make a holiday go from 'nice' to 'amazing.' Is it an easy journey through the airport with fast-track security? Is it vital they get those upgraded seats on the plane? Must they have a south-facing room?

​It's all about the conversation. For example, a client might think they want a trip to Greece, but after we chat, we might discover that what they're really looking for is a dream trip to Indonesia.

​When we find that perfect match, I get just as excited as they do. I feel like I get to live vicariously through their adventures.

My absolute favourite destination has to be Singapore.

​I am completely in love with its incredible vibrancy; it's a city that feels so alive, yet wonderfully safe and easy to explore. The culture is a fantastic fusion of different influences, which you can see everywhere from the stunning architecture to the amazing art.

​And, of course, the food! For me, it's the best in the world. I love 'the hunt,' and there's no better place to find hidden gems, from exploring the hawker centres for the most amazing street food to enjoying a world-class meal. It's just a spectacular, multi-sensory experience that I think everyone should have at least once!
