I have around 3 years of experience in the travel industry, and I’ve been the go-to holiday planner for family and friends for longer than I can remember. My passion for travel started from planning group trips and family holidays, which quickly grew into helping others find their perfect getaway.

Having travelled all over myself, I’ve built up a real understanding of what makes a holiday special from the little details to those unforgettable moments. That personal experience is what I now draw on to create tailor-made trips for my customers.

I launched Bowens Travel & Tours under Independent Travel Experts (part of The Travel Network Group) so I could turn my love of travel into a professional service. Through trusted partners and ABTA and ATOL-protected suppliers, I’m able to give clients peace of mind while offering a friendly, personal touch with every booking.

What I love most about working in the travel industry is helping people turn their holiday dreams into real experiences. There’s something special about being part of that excitement from the first enquiry to hearing all about their trip when they get back.

I enjoy getting to know my customers and using my own travel experiences to recommend places that genuinely suit them, not just what’s popular. Every booking is different, and that personal connection is what makes it so rewarding. Seeing happy customers come back again and again or recommend me to their friends and family is the best part of the job.

Over the years I have formed strong relationships with supplier partners which places me in the perfect position to get the very best deals for my customers.

My speciality areas include cruise holidays, European beach escapes, family getaways, and city breaks. I also love arranging tailor-made itineraries for couples, groups, and special occasions.

I’ve personally travelled across Europe, Thailand, and the Caribbean, and I draw on those experiences to give my customers genuine, first-hand recommendations. Whether it’s finding the perfect Mediterranean cruise, a relaxing beach retreat, or an island-hopping adventure, I focus on creating holidays that suit each customer’s style and budget.

I love booking cruise holidays, especially across the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Cruises are one of my biggest passions there really is a cruise line for everyone, whether you’re after relaxation, adventure, or luxury. I enjoy helping customers discover that cruises aren’t just for one type of traveller, they’re a fantastic way to see the world while only unpacking once!

My personal favourite cruise line is Virgin Voyages. They do things differently no kids, no buffets, no formal nights, just a modern, adults-only experience with incredible food, stylish ships, and a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

Helping customers explore these destinations, whether it’s a tropical escape, a European beach break, or a once-in-a-lifetime cruise is what makes my job so rewarding.

Cruising is my absolute favourite but I also have a real soft spot for Thailand, a destination full of culture, flavour, and stunning scenery. From the buzzing streets of Bangkok to the temples of Chiang Mai, the beaches of Pattaya, the islands of Koh Samui, and the laid-back vibe of Phuket, Thailand offers something for everyone.
